Additional information

ELASTOTET ANTI-G PU is a two-component (A+B) coating based on special aliphatic polyurethane resins, made in Greece and supplied in Lebanon by Rousse. It gives concrete, plaster and metal a smooth, hard-wearing protective finish that does not yellow in the sun, resists frost, humidity and sea air, and makes graffiti and spray paint easy to remove with solvents without damaging the surface. It is available transparent (clear) or grey, and in other colours on request.

On concrete it adds two layers of protection: it blocks water vapour and CO₂, which protects the reinforcement and stops carbonation of the concrete.

How to apply

Repair cracks, holes and joints with suitable sealants or mortar and remove bumps and concrete splashes.
Surface must be clean and dry: remove dirt, algae, moss and mould oil.
Prime weak or uneven concrete with Primer VL to strengthen it and reduce consumption.
Mix components A and B (100 : 11.3) with an electric stirrer until uniform. Pot life is about 8 hours at 23 °C.
Apply 2–3 coats by roller or airless spray (thin with the special solvent for spraying), 250–400 g/m² in total on concrete.

FAQ

What is anti-carbonation?
Carbon dioxide from the air slowly penetrates concrete and lowers its alkalinity, which lets the steel reinforcement rust. ANTI-G PU has zero CO₂ permeability, so it stops carbonation and extends the life of exposed concrete.

How do I remove graffiti from it?
Spray paint can be cleaned off with suitable solvents; the coating itself resists common solvents such as petrol and xylene, so the surface stays protected after cleaning.

Can I recoat it later?
Yes. It adheres well to itself, so a new coat can go over an old one without stripping it.

What do people call it in Lebanon?
Usually dehen PU lal beton (PU coating for concrete), 3azel lal beton or anti-graffiti; in Arabic دهان بولي يوريثان للباطون.
