HARDNE – IK-SUPER Hardener For Mastic

IK-SUPER mastic hardener is the curing paste (catalyst) for polyester marble mastic (akma). A small amount mixed into the mastic makes it set within minutes so it can be ground and polished with the stone. The 40 g tube suits 750 ml cans and daily site work; the 700 g pot is for workshops using gallons and barrels.

How to use it

1. Take out only the mastic you can use in a few minutes.
2. Add the hardener as shown on its label, usually around 2–3% by weight, and mix until the colour is even.
3. More hardener or summer heat shortens the working time; too little leaves the mastic sticky.
4. Close the tube or pot right after use and store it cool, away from sun and heat.
