SAITAC blue wet & dry sheets are SAIT Abrasivi’s waterproof sanding paper for car body work and fine finishing, made in Italy and supplied in Lebanon by Rousse. The range goes up to P3000 for flatting clear coat and removing orange peel and dust nibs before polishing.

Where to use it

• Wet sanding primer, filler and base coat in car body repair
• Flatting clear coat and removing dust nibs and orange peel (P1500–P3000)
• Fine finishing of marble and stone surfaces by hand
• Pre-polishing of metal and lacquered surfaces

SAITAC CB-C: full resin bonded silicon carbide paper on C-weight latex backing, closed coating, waterproof — for dry and wet hand sanding with very high flexibility and high water resistance. FAQ

How do I use a sheet?
Use it by hand, wrapped on a sanding block, or cut into strips for an orbital or finishing sander with clips. Work through the grits without skipping more than one step.

Which grit before polishing a car?
Wet sand the clear coat with P1500, then P2000 to P3000, and finish with polishing compound.

What do people call it in Lebanon?
Usually wara2 7aff or wara2 sanfara (ورق حف، ورق صنفرة); wet & dry is often called wara2 may.
