SAITAC wet & dry sheets are waterproof abrasive paper from SAIT Abrasivi, made in Italy and supplied in Lebanon by Rousse. They can be used dry or with water: wet sanding keeps the sheet from clogging, controls dust and gives a finer, more even finish on metal, car body filler, primer, paint and wood.

Where to use it

• Wet sanding of primer, filler and paint on cars (car body repair)
• Sanding and finishing metal and wood
• Flatting between coats and before polishing
• Fine finishing with high grits (P600–P1200)

Technical data

FAQ

How do I use a sheet?
Use it by hand, wrapped on a sanding block, or cut into strips for an orbital or finishing sander with clips. Work through the grits without skipping more than one step.

Can I use it dry?
Yes. It works dry or wet; use water (with a drop of soap) for fine grits to avoid clogging and get a smoother finish.

What do people call it in Lebanon?
Usually wara2 7aff or wara2 sanfara (ورق حف، ورق صنفرة); wet & dry is often called wara2 may.
