The SAIT Abrasivi SAITDISC 3A-X 180 mm is a fast, cool-cutting abrasive fiber disc for stainless steel, made in Italy and supplied in Lebanon by Rousse. It fits 7″ (18 cm) angle grinders with a 22 mm centre hole and a backing pad.

Very fast fiber sanding disc in special aluminium oxide with an active filler (top coat) for accurate sanding and finishing. Low clogging and low heat build-up give cold cutting in heavy-duty work, especially on stainless steel.

• Preparing stainless surfaces before satin or mirror finishing

• Always mount fibre discs on the matching SAITPAD backing pad with its locking nut.
• Store flat in the original pack at 15–25 °C and 45–75 % relative humidity so the discs stay flat.
• On special order: round bore with 4 slots, and semi-depressed centre (BS) discs for 180 mm.

Safety

Always mount the disc on a suitable backing pad, check that the grinder speed does not exceed the speed marked on the disc, and wear eye, hand and hearing protection.

Why use a special disc for stainless steel?
Stainless steel is sensitive to heat and iron contamination. The 3A-X filler keeps the cut cool, which limits discolouration and work hardening.

What comes after the fiber disc on stainless?
After the fiber disc, step down to non-woven SAITPOL products, then SAITLAB compounds if you need a mirror finish.

What is a fiber disc called in Lebanon?
In Lebanon and the Arab region, fiber discs are usually called wara2 saroukh (ورق صاروخ), wara2 jalkh (ورق جلخ), disc jalekh or s7oun jalekh (صحون جلخ), and sometimes wara2 sanfara (ورق صنفرة). For this disc, ask for wara2 saroukh stainless (ورق صاروخ ستانلس).
