SAIT crimped wire cup brushes with M14 thread for angle grinders, in steel wire for metal and stainless (inox) wire for stainless steel. Made in Italy by SAIT Abrasivi and supplied in Lebanon by Rousse.

Applications

• Removing rust, paint and scale from large metal surfaces
• Cleaning welds and preparing surfaces before painting
• Stainless versions for inox without contamination

SM-TA TOP LINE crimped wire cup brushes, M14 thread, for angle grinders. Long life; for light deburring and removing rust, paint and burrs from pipe ends. Source: SAIT General Catalogue 2026.

Tested to UNI EN 1083. Match the working pressure to the job — pressing too hard overheats the wires and breaks them early.

Never exceed the maximum speed marked on the product, keep guards in place and wear eye, hand and hearing protection.

FAQ

Crimped or knotted wire?
Crimped wire is flexible and gives a finer, more even cleaning on light rust, paint and scale. Knotted (twisted) wire is stiffer and more aggressive for heavy rust, weld spatter and thick coatings.

Steel or stainless (inox) wire?
Use steel wire on carbon steel. On stainless steel always use stainless (inox) wire brushes, so steel particles do not contaminate the surface and cause rust spots.

What do people call it in Lebanon?
Usually fershaye (فرشاية) or fershet saroukh (فرشاية صاروخ) for angle-grinder brushes.
