ELASTOTET acrylic sealant in wood colours (Parquet Flooring Acryseal) is a one-component, water-based elastomeric acrylic for wooden floors and joinery, made in Greece and supplied in Lebanon by Rousse. It fills and seals joints in parquet, laminate and chipboard and around skirting and pipes in a colour that matches the wood, and can be painted or varnished.

Joints in parquet, laminate and chipboard floors
Between parquet and skirting boards of marble, tile or wood, and around heating pipes
Wooden, aluminium and PVC doors, windows and furniture (indoors)

How to apply

Surfaces must be clean and free of dust; mask the edges with tape.
Apply with a cartridge gun and tool immediately with a damp spatula; remove the tape before the skin forms.
It dries as the water evaporates; cold, humid conditions slow it down and strong heat can skin it within seconds, so work in moderate conditions.

Which wood colour should I choose?
Pick the shade closest to the floor or frame: oak and beech for light woods, maple for pale floors, cherry, walnut (nut) and mahogany for darker woods.

Can I use it outdoors or in wet areas?
No. It is designed for indoor wood joints and is not for joints in permanent contact with water. For high movement or wet joints use a silicone, PU or hybrid sealant.

What do people call it in Lebanon?
Usually ma3joun khashab, ma3joun parquet or ma3joun acrylic alwen khashab; in Arabic معجون خشب or معجونة اكريليك ألوان خشبية.
