ELASTOTET F-TC is a transparent, aliphatic polyurethane top coat, made in Greece and supplied in Lebanon by Rousse. It forms a hard, UV-stable protective layer that does not yellow or chalk, even after years in the sun, and resists abrasion, foot traffic and chemicals.

Use it clear, or mix it with a colour paste to give a coloured, colour-stable finish on top of polyurethane waterproofing membranes and epoxy or polyurethane floors.

Where to use it

Top coat over LASTOFLEX PU and other PU waterproofing membranes, for UV and wear protection
Protective clear coat on self-levelling polyurethane and epoxy floors
Clear protection of porous surfaces such as concrete, even without primer

How to apply

Surface must be dry and clean. Over PU or epoxy, apply within 48 hours of the last coat.
If colouring, mix in the colour paste (10–20% by weight) with a low-speed mixer.
Apply 1–2 coats by roller or spray at 100–200 g/m², 4 to 24 hours apart (never more than 48 hours).
Avoid rain during application.

FAQ

Why put a top coat on LASTOFLEX PU?
Polyurethane membranes slowly chalk in the sun. F-TC is aliphatic, so it stays clear and colour stable, and adds a hard, abrasion-resistant surface for terraces with foot traffic.

Glossy or Matt?
Same protection; choose by the look you want. Matt hides surface marks better on floors and terraces.

Can it be coloured?
Yes, mix in an ELASTOTET colour paste at 10–20% by weight.

What do people call it in Lebanon?
Usually PU shaffef, PU transparent or PU clear, also varnish shaffef or varnish PU; in Arabic PU شفاف or ورنيش بولي يوريثان شفاف.
