ELASTOTET anti-fungal silicones keep bathroom and kitchen joints clean and white. Made in Greece and supplied in Lebanon by Rousse, they are acetoxy silicones with mould protection for wet areas.

• SUPER WHITE 10: premium acetoxy silicone with Fungiban active anti-bacterial technology that stops the black mould stains in high-humidity areas, with a 10-year warranty.
• S-200: sanitary anti-fungal silicone for bathrooms and kitchens, in clear or white.

Where to use it

• Bathtubs, shower trays, wash-basins, sinks and kitchen worktops
• Tiles and glazed ceramics in wet areas
• Hospitals, laboratories and food areas that need hygiene
• Window and door frames with condensation

How to apply

1. Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dust, grease and old sealant.
2. Cut the cartridge above the thread, screw on the nozzle and cut it at an angle to the joint width.
3. Apply in one continuous bead and tool with a wet spatula or finger within the skin time.
4. Silicone cures from the surface inward at about 2–3 mm in the first 24 hours; do not fill joints deeper than 2 cm in one go.
5. Silicone cannot be painted.

FAQ

Why does bathroom silicone turn black?
The black spots are mould growing on the silicone surface in damp areas. Anti-fungal silicones like SUPER WHITE 10 contain active protection that stops mould from growing.

S-200 or SUPER WHITE 10?
Both are anti-fungal bathroom silicones. SUPER WHITE 10 has the stronger Fungiban protection and a 10-year warranty; S-200 is the everyday sanitary silicone and also comes in clear.

Acetoxy or neutral silicone?
Acetoxy silicones (S-100, S-400, S-200) cure fast and smell of vinegar; they are ideal on glass, aluminium and glazed ceramics. Neutral silicone (S-900) has almost no smell, does not corrode metals and bonds better to concrete, stone, mortar and porous surfaces.

Is silicone harmful once it has cured?
Fresh acetoxy silicone can irritate skin and eyes. Once it has cured, usually within about 24 hours, it is considered harmless.

Which silicone for a swimming pool or permanent water contact?
Because of chlorine, Elastotet recommends only transparent S-900 neutral silicone for pools. Porous surfaces such as concrete need a primer.

السيليكون مع أسيد (S-100، S-400، S-200) بينشف بسرعة وريحته متل الخل؛ ممتاز عالزجاج والألمنيوم والسيراميك اللمّاع. السيليكون النيوترال (S-900) تقريباً بلا ريحة، ما بيصدّي المعادن وبيلزق أحسن عالباطون والحجر والمسامي.

السيليكون مضرّ بعد ما ينشف؟
السيليكون مع أسيد وهو طري ممكن يهيّج الجلد والعيون. بعد ما ينشف، عادةً خلال 24 ساعة، بيعتبر غير مضرّ.

أي سيليكون للبيسين أو للمي الدائمة؟
بسبب الكلور، ELASTOTET بتنصح بس بسيليكون S-900 الشفاف للبيسين. السطوح المسامية متل الباطون بدها برايمر.
