Additional information

ELASTOTET ISOFIX HYBRID is a one-component sealant and adhesive based on silane-terminated (SMP) polymer, made in Greece and supplied in Lebanon by Rousse. It cures with humidity into a strong, elastic seal and bond, is practically odourless, and is free of silicone, solvents and isocyanates, so one cartridge can replace silicone, acrylic and PU sealants as well as construction glues.

Where to use it

Sealing joints around window and door frames, roofs, floors, pipes and ventilation ducts
Bathrooms and kitchens: sinks, basins, tiles, mirrors and accessories (mildew resistant)
Bonding gypsum board, decorative items, metal frames and sills
Bonding different materials under load: aluminium, brick, ceramic, concrete, glass, marble, metal, plastic, wood

How to apply

Surfaces should be clean and free of dust and grease; damp surfaces are acceptable.
Cut the nozzle to the joint width and apply with a standard cartridge gun.
Tool the bead within the skin time. For bonding, press the parts together firmly and avoid loading for 24 hours.

FAQ

Can ISOFIX HYBRID replace silicone in the bathroom?
Yes. It seals sinks, basins and tiles, resists mildew, and unlike silicone it also bonds.

Does it stick to damp surfaces?
Yes, it bonds well to most substrates, including damp ones.

ISOFIX HYBRID or ELASTOBOND?
Both are hybrid sealant-adhesives. ISOFIX HYBRID is the everyday all-purpose choice; ELASTOBOND adds a Crystal Clear version and a High Tack version for heavy items.
